Worst boot buying experience I have ever had. Was told I was passed the 30 day mark for an exchange/return. Had an issue with the left boot becoming loose even after Brunt sending me another pair of laces. I wore them no more than a handful of times within 30 days. I received an email on Christmas stating I could get them exchanged only to get an email the next day stating they cant do anything about it. I could have got better service off of Offerup or Craigslist. Extremely disappointed. Sucks. It is what it is. All good reviews dont always involve you being one of them. Now Im stuck paying on boots I dont even wear. Back to my old boots until I buy another pair. Should have stuck with Timberlands. Sometimes you get the "BRUNT" end of a bad joke! Jokes on me!!
Ordered the Ryng Comp toe June 14 2023, started wearing them June 24th ish, they didn't last 3 months of very light use and wear of really just walking in them before essesive wear started showing in the seam where the sole, comp toe guard and black book fabric all meet and come together. By the end of month 4 there was a hole big enough to fit my finger through. Not to mention that they say the boot is waterproof and the very first time they saw water was within 2 weeks of wearing them and I couldn't even walk through 6-inch tall wet dewy grass for 20 minutes before my feet were soaked. They look and feel great on your feet once you get through the break-in Period. But as far as ever buying them again or reccomendig them to a co-worker. I definitely would not be a return customer based on this poor 1st experience and seeing many other review similar stories after 6 months needing replacements. Now I find myself 6 months in, (after limping them for 2 months), also needing replacement boots again. Brunt's claims of best, most comfortable longer lasting work boot are mighty statements, none of which I found to be credible.
Bought a pair of Marin's a year ago and love them. Since then a handful of my co workers have bought Brunt boots because of how comfortable they are.
I bought a pair of boots and the sole is separating from the boot after 90 days. Brunt workwear only warranties their boots for 30 days so they refuse to replace them. For a company to only warranty their products for 30 days that says alot about the quality. I will never buy anything from brunt workwear again.
Here’s a special type of review for you.
9 months ago I purchase a pair of ryng low comp shoe within the first month they began tearing and ever since then I’ve been limping them along, I must say, I love the composite/steel toe aspect of them, but for the past 4-6 months I’ve been limping these shoes along attempting to get as much use out of them as I can. The interior foam and fabric has torn out. And funny enough, today the sole seperate on one of my shoes today.
I’m a retail worker and a gym goer, so these shoes are worn 10-12 hours a day.
I must admit they are pretty heavy and uncomfortable until after they are broke in.
Well, 7 days ago or so I figured it was time to buy a new pair of shoes, I was a little lazy and just decided to buy the same pair of shoes, hopefully this pair will last me more than 9 months because they are quite pricey!
Here’s a comparison of old vs new
Update: it’s been 3 months (it’s now 12/29/23
Yesterday while at work the foam of my formerly new shoes seemingly disintegrated and left me with blisters on the heel of the shoes. I’m extremely dissapointed and have reached out to customer support and hopefully reach a fair resolution I cant believe this pair is already falling apart
Awesome boot's very comfortable and safe.
I have had a paid of the Marin 8” comp toe and have worn them for about 5 months now. They are supposed to be waterproof. This is not the case. They leaked in water just over my toe. I contacted them and was asked to send pictures which I did. They said the wear on the boots wouldn’t indicate any issues and they are only waterproof up to the bottom of the tongue. Nothing they can do. Unfortunate, as I work for an electrical contractor and was speaking so highly of these. Won’t be anymore. Very sad they didn’t even take them back to give them a look.
Best customer service I've ever experienced hands down. Had a tiny issue with a pair a boiyd. And with zero hassle they sent me a new pair of a better boot they recommended. I know what boots ill be buying for the rest of my life.
